A seven year-old boy was transported to hospital by ORNG ambulance after sustaining serious burns when a buried propane cylinder exploded at a campfire near Perth.
Two other people were also injured at the campground on Christie Lake North Shore Road.
Lanark County OPP say they attended the accident scene to assist members of the Bathurst, Burgess, Drummond-North Elmsley Fire Department just before 10:30PM Saturday night.
The buried cylinder is suspected to have been ignited by a campfire the trio had lit.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has been contacted, and the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
