Premier Doug Ford says if we don’t stop the spread of COVID-19 up to 50 people a day or two people per hour could die in Ontario.
Earlier today health experts in Ontario said by the end of the month we could see 80,000 people infected with this virus and possibly 1,600 dead. This afternoon (April 3rd) Ford ordered all non-essential construction sites to close before Sunday (April 5th).
The Premier says work on hospitals and for transportation will continue. Ford says his government is prepared to take every step possible to slow the spread of COVID-19.
