The Men’s Shed in Arnprior has started to produce Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for local health care facilities in the Ottawa Valley. The Township of McNab/Braeside shared a post on Facebook showing individuals working on protective shields for workers. The PPE will be used at screening areas at locations with Arnprior Regional Health and the Petawawa Family Health Team.
The Men’s Shed says they’re ready to produce additional units for COVID-19 mobile screening centres. Yesterday (March 22nd), the province of Ontario put out a call for help to all businesses, organizations and individuals who can help produce and provide medical products. Anyone who’s able to supply emergency products and with innovative solutions is encouraged to contact the Ontario government.
You can learn more about the newly announced Ontario Together program here.
Thank you to the Men’s Shed for all of your hard work last week completing several pieces of Personal Protection…
