Today we are profiling athletics instructor and multi-discipline coach Chris Spratt, whose career spanned gigs at both Almonte High School and ADHS.
Spratt says a number of his own coaches encouraged him to follow in their footsteps.
He says you never know when an off-the-cuff comment will stick with a student athlete and be their inspiration to success in life.
The football coach says a memorable moment came when Almonte won the OFSA championship.
Although retired from teaching, Spratt coaches his grandkids through Valley Pride Basketball and touch football at public school.
The irony is, while a football coach in Almonte, his team won the OFSFA chmpionship at Skydome, but they also played against the ADHS Rapids.
