Ontario is investing almost $476 000 in infrastructure repairs at Arnprior Regional Health for 2020.
However, that’s down from previous years. Eric Hanna, President and CEO of ARH says the better shape your hospital is in, the less money Queen’s Park transfers to your hospital under what’s called the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF).
Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) is using the funding to purchase and install a new ducted air conditioning system in the hospital’s patient care areas.
Through the HIRF, the Ontario government is investing in repairs and upgrades for its 131 hospitals.
