This Municipal Election Arnprior voters have a goodly number of candidates from which to pick. Candidate Andrew Fogarsi said something nobody can disagree with; for Council, we have to choose five.

With thirteen running for seats at the table, the challenge at Thursday's All-Candidates meeting at ADHS was to stand out. Danny Martin did it by standing up.

As an observation, the absence of election signs proclaiming incumbency in Town is curious. Two-term councillor Lynn Grinstead is running on her record as an outspoken team player.

When it comes to civic service, the credentials of Ted Strike and Tom Burnette are to be lauded.

Frank Dugal is not only an incumbent, he's been on council in another community.

Glenn Miller has more prodigy in the community than any other candidate.

Chris Toner struck an Optimistic note.

Marc Bissonnette has heard alot going door to door.

Lisa McGee is the new candidate with experience.

Geoffrey White moved back home to care for his grandma.

For Mayor, the candidates are similar in that they are both soft-spoken. Walter Stack's family is fifth generation in the Valley- and he has served Arnprior well at County for a dozen years.

Gabriel Flowers' sincerety to bring his talents to civic service is obvious.

The early voting period opens October 11th and the election is over on October 22nd.
