An Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food Economic Development tool is being used to survey Lanark County enterpise about its needs, and gather data for business retention and expansion across active sectors in the County. The Valley Heartland Community Futures Development Corporation is conducting the survey, and co-ordinator Teri Devine is in the process of gathering a team of volunteers eager to carry the task forward.

Businesses will be participating not only as sectoral representatives, there can be direct and immediate benefit for your firm.

BR and E coordinator Teri Devine says gathering the volunteers and picking the businesses to take part will bring things to the end of the calendar year. The interviews will take place over January, February and March. Devine says a task force is then formed in late Spring, recommendations will come forward and implementation will be realized in July of 2019. You can email Devine at if you would like to volunteer, or respond to the survey.
