4/12/2018 8:03:00 AM

Water Rescues are costly, after it was called to pull a frigid kayaker from the Madawaska River last winter, the Arnprior Fire Department is coming up with a plan to share its equipment with neighbouring muncipalities. Fire Chief Jeff Crawford says the department wants to help.

Crawford updated Town Council Monday on discussions with neighbouring townships.

The Fire Chief says Arnprior would bill its neighbours an annual flat fee of one thousand dollars for water rescue agreements.
