CELEBRATION OF LIFE RETURNS JANUARY 26TH 1/10/2018 10:08:55 AM
It's an entire day devoted to supporting health services in the Town of Renfrew. It started as just a dance, but since then has grown into so much more. The 14th annual Celebration of Life Day and Dance is set for Friday January 26th. This is an annual event vital to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, according to Barb Desilets with the Foundation Office.
This event is in loving memory of Janet Robertson and Desilets says this day has become a memorial to Janet and her efforts to raise money and awareness while supporting her community. The cost is ten dollars and the proceeds are divided between the hospital, Hospice Renfrew and Doctor Recruitment. Everything begins with breakfast at the Rocky Mountain House at 7am, followed by lunch at Finnigan's at 11am and dinner at Renfrew Pizzeria. Doors for the dance, featuring Riley New Band and Ghost Town Cryers, open at 7 o'clock at the Renfrew Armouries.
