POLICE INVESTIGATE ARNPRIOR THEFTS

There have been several thefts in the Renfrew and Arnprior area in the last week. Renfrew OPP are investigating tools being taken from the bed and cab of an unlocked pick up truck from a lot at Winners Circle Drive in Arnprior. The victim says they parked the truck around 6 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov 29) and returned 15 minutes later to find the tools missing. On November 27 around 2 p.m., a female allegedly entered Metro in Arnprior and exited with some food without paying. She is described as 25 to 30 years old with light brown hair and letters tattooed on her knuckles. A chainsaw was stolen from a property on Bruce Street in Horton. The chainsaw was last seen on November 15. A vehicle on Madawaska Boulevard in Arnprior was broken into Saturday (December 2) and on top of the lock being damaged, a bag containing glasses, clothing and credit cards was taken. Police are continuing to investigate all of these thefts.
