MISSISSIPPI MILLS HOSTING INFORMATION SESSION ON OFFICIAL PLAN CHANGES 12/6/2017 8:41:51 AM
Mississippi Mills residents are being given plenty of opportunity to comment on proposed changes to the Municipality's Official Plan. The Town is organizing an information session, slated for Thursday, December 14th, at 6PM in the Almonte Community Centre, Upstairs Hall. Mayor Shaun McLaughlan says consultant J.L. Richards will take part in discussions that evening, and will be available for one-on-one's with individuals expressing concerns.
Community group PRATAC has been conducting its own sessions on the topic. Vice-President Gerry Belisile says there is a meeting tonight (Wednesday) at the Clayton Hall, which follows on the heels of a successful forum at the end of November.
The Pakenham Ramsay and Almonte Taxpayers Advocacy Coalition's website is found at www.pratac.ca, while the Town's official web address is www.mississippimills.ca-- and each site offers information on the proposed Official Plan changes in the community.
