LATEST RAINFALL PROMPTS FLOOD WARNING FOR WATERWAYS IN MISSISSIPPI VALLEY WATERSHED

Troubles continue for the Mississippi Valley Conservation. A flood watch has been issued for both the Little Marble Lake and Dalhousie Lake. As a result of the continuous rainfall and with additional rainfall in the forecast, water levels are expected to reach above normal spring flood conditions. Officials say that water levels on the Mississippi Lake are also expected to increase 10 to 15 cm above current levels over the next four days depending on additional rainfall.
