MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS A RESULT OF COLLABORATION - FIRST IS TODAY IN PEMBROKE

Mental Health Services of Renfrew County has created a self-discovery and recovery series. The MHSRC has partnered with the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, The Royal, The Mental Illness Caregivers' Association and the National Alliance on Mental Illness to create a series of free information sessions. The first session is called Diagnosis and Personal Meaning and will be held today (Wednesday, July 12) in the boardroom of the Pembroke Public Library from 6 until 8pm. The sesion will focus on learning about mentail illness, resources and treatment as well as coping strategies for caregivers, family and friends. There will also be a guest speaker and light refreshments, but space is limited.
